How do you address a postcard?

I just bought a postcard for my friend because I live in Italy and she lives in the States and she wanted one. When I got home from buying it I said,"I don;t know how to address a postcard! They don't teach that at school! My mom didn't know either so I decided to use Yahoo! Answers. I need help FAST!
