Got new rims the old ones were 16 and the new are 18 the new rear make a ticking noise with no marks on rims?

i have a c320 and i got new rims for it. it had 16" rims and i put 18" rims with a positive 35 offset on it and the rear rims make a distinct metal ticking noise. there are no marks on the rim that would indicate the rims are rubbing. is it possible that the lug bolts are rubbing whats behind the rotors. they are bolts not lug nuts, they seem to screw in deeper than the stock lugs.
