I want to visit LA for Xmas, but I want to be central to everything I see on TV. What's the best area for me?

Try Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Westwood, or Brentwood. They're all close to each other and popular attractions such as Hollywood & Highland, Rodeo, etc.
