Harry Potter madness?

Everyone's saying how "oh, i read this leaked version" or "so and so told me that he got his hands on the book and so and so dies along with so and so." is anybody really gullible enough to think they've read the real thing? I heard after it was leaked, she changed the ending. So what does it matter? It's driving me insane.
