Is there a way to control wild pigs?
We moved to the country about five years ago and have never had any problems until this year. I thought my husband was kidding when he said wild pigs were rooting through our yard, but after talking to some of the neighbors, I found this to be true. At first this didn't seem to be too much of a problem. But now they are tearing up large portions of our yard and digging huge ruts and holes everywhere. Some of the holes are at least 3 or 4 feet across and a foot or more deep! I ume this is because they are searching out grubs and other food sources, but I'd prefer that they do it somewhere else. I was going to post some photos but couldn't figure out how to do that. The yard is so bad that it looks like someone was back there plowing with a tractor! Has anyone else had this problem and come up with any solutions? I can't think of anything other than fencing our entire 7+ acres, and even if we could afford it, I'm not even sure that would work. Thanks!
